let us tell you something: those who have the privilege to hear the "pusaka" recording so far, have nothing but praises for the album. they all said something big in gonna happen to the solianos with this album...
with the solianos, you either get it or you don't. if you get it (most of them are above 35), you would be going gaga that such fantastic talents finally release an album of great significance. if you don't get it, no amount of explaining or convincing will help.
it is hard to profile the kind of people that would dig this album but basically you have to live the era (early 70s to late 80s) to know what malaysia was going thru, culturally and politically. you would probably be studying in english medium schools before the government changed to malay medium; you would have lived thru the golden era of RTM (hiburan malam minggu and bintang RTM!) and listened to at least a couple of top malay pop albums by p.ramlee, sudirman, freedom and sheila majid. it is a very malaysian feeling, very very anak malaysia feeling.
that's why believe that "pusaka" doesn't need much marketing. it will sell by itself with word of mouth and inner circle networking. but of course, we want every malaysia to listen to the music, that's why we are planning for a big-scale marketing campaign.
we are almost done with "widuri" and we tell you, the vocal harmony is absof**k**lutely out of this world! ador's arrangement for the vocal harmony is the best so far with this song and we simply can't get enough of this song!
as stated, "pusaka" is our swan song before we take our sabbatical. it is going to be our proudest moment to date simply because the music is the most malaysian and most relevant to us.
a lot of things are brewing here and we are accelerating at breakneck speed.

WIDURI!!!!!
